At this time we are suspending our request for ALL FOOD DONATIONS until May 4.
We appreciate all of the donations we have received in the past month. The pantry has very specific requirements for the Grab-n-Go boxes that are being assembled during the COVID crisis. The Greater Boston Food Bank is now supplying the food needed for these boxes in large quantities, so we can sort and pack them as the deliveries are made. We also have limited warehouse space due to these deliveries.
The Project Bread Walk for Hunger is where we are directing donations at this time. The Walk for Hunger has always been about a promise to provide relief to those struggling with food insecurity. While the physical walk will not take place this year, our “virtual walk team” will fulfill our promise to support those most in need of help as we raise funds for COVID-19 crisis hunger relief.
