Home Delivery Coordinator Application

Job Description

  • Monitor the dedicated home delivery email

  • Call households and write up their food order request on the Home Delivery Shopping form

    • Required to be available every Wednesday for a minimum of four (4) hours​

  • Maintain the individual shopping forms, one for each month and update line items as needed

  • Maintain and update the list for each week’s calls, share with the HD team and print to use on Wednesdays

  • Print the following: Driver Directions, Bakery, Produce, & Freezer/Fridge labels

  • Prepare reports for the Ecumenical Food Pantry of Norwood Board meetings

 

Duties may also include:

  • Assist in packing deliveries Thursday and Saturday mornings

  • Train new volunteers on Home Delivery duties and policies

This volunteer position requires:

  • The ability to read, write and speak English clearly in person and over the phone

  • Consistent attendance on a weekly basis

  • The ability to use software (or be willing and capable of being trained) such as: Gmail, Google Sheets or Excel, software for printing labels and documents.

By applying to the Home Delivery Coordinator Volunteer application, I hereby certify that the answers given by me during the selection process are true and correct without reservation and hereby authorize the Norwood Food Pantry to verify same. If an opportunity is obtained under this application, I will comply with all orders, rules, and regulations of the Norwood Food Pantry. Unless otherwise noted in this document, I authorize the Norwood Food Pantry to verify information I have provided during the selection process regarding former employers, volunteer organizations and educational institutions. If upon review, anything contained in my statements are found to be untrue, I understand that I will be subject to dismissal at anytime. If this application leads to a Norwood Food Pantry opportunity, I understand that I will undergo a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) background check.  I understand that any false or misleading information in my application/interview or criminal record may result in my release.
